About

She alternated between playing solo and with her band members, Josh Mears (lead guitar), Elleni Geena (keys), Toby Fealy (bass), Sam Hollins (drums), depending on the venue. The band have played venues such as CPAC, Cairns Show and Elixir Music House. Tenni loves playing with her band, and that is when her songs reach their full potential. Playing solo, Tenni complements her set with a harmonising vocal pedal, giving the extra touch for a full, beautiful sound.

The Tenni Band (informally known as Tenni and the Jets) played two incredible last gigs together in Cairns before they parted for university.

They were a part of the Enter Stage Right Artist Development Program, held at the Tanks Arts Center on the 30th November 2025.

Then, as their last gig together before Tenni set off down the coast, they held a phenomenal gig at the renowned Elixir Music House, where they achieved a full house and a MASSIVE DANCING CROWD

Tenni has now relocated to Melbourne to begin her studies of Audio Engineering and Entertainment Business Management at JMC Academy.

With an original repertoire of over thirty songs, Tenni covers topics she feels passionately about, ranging from the patriarchy, climate change, relationships, and simple everyday annoyances. What she cannot put into words she puts into songs. Her earlier works, Better Than You and Bad Things, are on streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music. With influences such as Missy Higgins, Tessa Devine, and Fleetwood Mac, Tenni continues to explore her personal style and sound.

Her most recent achievement was opening for Sarah Blasko at the Tanks Arts Centre on March 8th 2025.

She is 18 and ready to take on the world with her music and cheek. Her original songs tell the stories of her life and imagination, spanning from her hate for misogyny to metaphorical mice sitting at dining tables. You never really know with her, do you?

With an Indie/Rock style, she has been playing music since she was 10 and has now played at the Tablelands Folk Festival, Cairns Eco Fiesta, Cairns Festival, Tanks Arts Centre and multiple other gigs around her community. Originally located in the small community of Kuranda, she was raised within an incredibly musically creative family, and they continue to make music together today.
